Frequently asked questions

Does the virtual training differ from the in-person training?

A blended course combines the theoretical and practical sessions of the training. There are two parts to a course, the theoretical session, which is the classroom instruction and the practical session, which is usually the “hands on” portion of the course. The practical session of the course must be completed in person. However, we are currently offering a virtual theoretical training option for customers who would like to pursue training when travel may not be possible.

What is a blended course and is virtual training available?

Our instructors will provide the same quality teaching experience that you would receive in our classrooms.

How much time do I have after completing the virtual class to complete the practical?

We recommend you complete the practical training within six (6) months and within the same calendar year. However, we understand we are in an unprecedented time and are always willing to work with your schedule, if needed.

Who are the instructors?

The instructors leading our virtual training courses are the same ones that teach the courses at the BTA.

How do I sign up for a virtual course?

You can sign up for a course by accessing our Learning Management System. We are also available via email at or at 1-800-359-2355, option 4.

Who can I reach out to for further questions?

For further questions, you can send us an email at or give us a call at 1-800-359-2355, option 4. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and help you receive the training you need.
