Jennifer K. Williamson is the senior vice president and chief legal officer for Bell, Textron Inc. and a member of the Bell Senior Leadership Team. In this role, she is responsible for providing legal and business advice for all aircraft programs and managing due diligence processes and negotiating agreements for complex transactions.
Most recently, she led Bell’s Global Supply Chain organization, ensuring a robust supply chain system and partnerships. Prior to that she served as senior vice president and general counsel at Textron Systems, where she led a skilled legal team responsible for multiple business divisions, domestic and international.
Jennifer also served as Bell’s Deputy General Counsel for Military Programs in 2019. In this role, she was the lead attorney for all current and future military programs, advising all levels of the business on strategic matters involving the capture and administration of contracts with the U.S. Government, including foreign military sales customers.
During her Bell tenure, Jennifer served in several roles across the enterprise with increasing responsibility, including, Deputy General Counsel, Director of Commercial Business Affairs, Director of Business Operations for the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office for the V-22 Program and Assistant General Counsel in support of U.S. Government contracts and Supply Chain Management.
Jennifer served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a Captain from 2003 through 2009. During her active-duty time, she served with the 82nd Airborne Division, wherein she completed two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a JAG Officer with the 82nd, Jennifer served as a Legal Assistance Attorney, the Chief of Administrative & Civil Law, and Trial Counsel. Jennifer was also the Chief of Administrative & Civil Law and the Senior Defense Counsel at Fort Rucker, AL.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree and subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law. In 2014 Jennifer earned an MBA from the University of Auburn-Montgomery.
